The Pleasure of Twists and Backbends

Type:  Sat (Asana/Pranayama / VisnuPractice / Middling (Madhya)

Class Description: Working to intrease depth, fluidity and grace in twisting and backbending poses.

Please NoteParticipants should be able to push up from the floor with relative ease into urdva dhanurasana. They should also try to hold sirsasana for 5 minutes and be able to hold a steady salamba sarvangasana and be ready to work on the variations Bring any proprs you need: E.g. two blocks of same size. Two belts. Blankets or foam support for shoulderstand. Blanket for headstand and/or for knee support in seated asanas. If menstruating, try to have access to a bolster.
