I. Sat (Asana & Pranayama)
These are the asana and pranayama classes that are the core of the Iyengar system of yoga. Many will be "general" classes which plan to cover a broad range of asanas over the course of the class, while others will specialize on particular themes or topics such as knees, backs, viloma pranayama and so forth. The lengths and difficulty levels of the classes will vary widely, so always be sure to check that you are in a class appropriate to your practice level, competence and interests.
