Class Description: The 'myth of asana' is that they are done solely on a physical level. If you add awareness and relaxation, as kriya yoga suggests, the pose takes on an environment that allows for the spontaneous arising of the four higher states of raja yoga. The "myth of asana" classes present practical methods on how to achieve poses in all four ways. Within all three classes, the "Dance of Shiva" courses taught by Glenn Black will be introduced. "This concerns the adding of awareness and conscious relaxation to your practice".
