Asana Practice Based On Supta Padangustasana Series to Yoga Nidrasana -- Nadis

Class Description: The location of the fourteen major nadis will be examined in relation to their effects beyond the physical and organic approaches to asana practice, leading from active effort of organs of action (karmendriiyas) into receptive action of breath as divine sanction.

Note: Students in this class will be expected to be familiar with basic approach to standing poses and back bends. They will be expected to hold standing poses for about two to three minutes and be able to push up into unrdhva dhanurasana. The class is not suitable for those needing therapeutic work. Please bring (in order of preference) one sticky mat, two identical belts, two identical blocks, four firm blankets, one chair, one bolster.
