Inversions and Pranayama
Type: Sat (Asana/Pranayama / Brahma Foundation / Middling (Madhya)
INSTRUCTOR: John Leebold
Class Description: The importance of the inner balance of the mind and the attention required for Inversions and the psycho/physiological bearing of fundamental inversions promote a pranic flow for pranayama.
The sequencing and breath awareness within the balances will be explored in basic Ujjayi and Viloma pranayama.
Please
Note: Two years of regular practice recommended. Should also have been doing inversion and backbends under a certified teacher.If parts of the class are out of the individual's range alternatives will be gladly given although students should not expect a great deal of personalized and individual attention. Please bring blocks and usual yoga equipment.
