Inversions and Pranayama

Type:  Sat (Asana/Pranayama / BrahmaFoundation / Middling (Madhya)

INSTRUCTOR:
 John Leebold

Class Description: The importance of the inner balance of the mind and the attention required for Inversions and the psycho/physiological bearing of fundamental inversions promote a pranic flow for pranayama. The sequencing and breath awareness within the balances will be explored in basic Ujjayi and Viloma pranayama.

Please NoteTwo years of regular practice recommended. Should also have been doing inversion and backbends under a certified teacher.If parts of the class are out of the individual's range alternatives will be gladly given although students should not expect a great deal of personalized and individual attention. Please bring blocks and usual yoga equipment.
